  I have been to mad pizza e bar in surry hills. and it was one of the best pizza I have had. Hoping to have the same experience I went to the one in Bondi. And it was the greatest mistake. It took around an hour to get the pizza even though there was no one else who was waiting for food. It was just our table and some delliveroo guy.The staff seemed to be friendly when I enquired about the food. But they could not help much. The pizza base was burnt. I would give negative stars if possible. But the least I could is one star. I know its a lot of stars for what the restuarant in Bondi deserves. Its a big no from me if u wanna have an authentic mad pizza from Bondi. They insult an awesome franchise like Mad Pizza

  I had to wait 45mins for take away pizza, despite being told it would take 10-15mins. When given my pizza it was obvious it had been out of the oven for a while. The pizza was okay, staff could be a bit more attentive.

  Sunday evening 6pm. We were a table of 7 including 3 kids. Half empty restaurant but we waited over an hour for food as the place pumped out take away orders over and over again. Manager comped us a few beers when I enquired about our food. When it eventually came it was terrible. Pizza bases burnt and my wife's 'marinara' pasta like some kind of porridge topped with ketchup. Seriously there are plenty of other places to eat in Bondi and I'd recommend them all over Mad Pizza. If you focussed more on your in-house customers than your foodora/deliveroo obligations, maybe it wouldn't be so bad and your staff would have time to focus on quality food and service.

  We visited here on Saturday night without a reservation. We ordered Amalfi pizza and Rocket & Parmesan salad, which were both great! The only negative point for me was the music. It was so loud that we left as soon as we finished the meal. It's a good place to go to eat and drink with a group.
